Wednesday at East Dulwich Picturehouse

from 10 am, 116a Lordship Ln SE22 8HD

The Herne Tavern is a traditional Victorian pub situated on Forest Hill Road in East Dulwich, right opposite the glorious green space that is Peckham Rye. Run by new licensees since June 2015, The Herne has a new lease of life!

The impressive 1930s interior and quite possibly the largest garden in South East London make it a special place to visit all year round. There are real fires and original panelling in the bar and dining area, plus a conservatory. Children are welcome in the garden and dining area until 8pm.

Four real ales are available on draught and the wine list has plenty of options by the glass ... good old classic dishes alongside more contemporary options, proper food made from great ingredients. The Barn in the garden is ideal for private parties, functions and meetings. Free WiFi, music nights, a weekly quiz and regular events for the family.
